BT-001 配信開始

POOLCAST.NETは今年の1月から正式運用を開始したわけですが、新しいBoost Tapesのコンピレーションアルバム REPLAYING GAMES / V.A.(BoostTapesのサイトへリンク)を、ようやくアップすることができました。私は1曲のみの参加となってしまいましたが、できあがったものを通して聞いてみて、十数年という時の流れを感じさせるものになったと思いました。

なにせ少人数での運営ですから、音楽を作るのはもちろんコンピレーションの企画や編纂、ウェブの管理…といった作業を全部をやってると時間がかかります。ちなみに私はコミケなどに通じる同人活動の経験はないのですが、おそらく似たようなものなのではないかと思ったりします。

Boost Tapesは、現在はBlankDiskut氏が中心になって制作活動を行っている、いわゆるレーベルという形をとっています。私はBoost Tapesのプロジェクトに参加する一個人ですが、音楽のネット配信に興味があり、例えばブログと音楽置き場を連動させてみるという試みがPOOLCAST.NETに繋がっていたりします。つまりそれぞれは関係はあるものの別物なんですが、「Boost Tapesの配信手段としてPOOLCAST.NETの形態を使ってみる」ということになっています。

これは作業分担としても功を奏することになりまして、お互いの領分はそれぞれの責任や好みで進めますので、よくわかんないことや面倒そうなことはおまかせです。BlankDiskut氏はBoost Tapesとしてコンピレーションアルバムの企画や制作を進め、形にしていきました。おかげで私は自分の曲を作ったりウェブの管理に集中できました。私個人としては、かつてレーベルというものにも憧れをもっていましたが、あんまり向いてないなと悟ったもので、興味を感じたネットに力を入れているというわけです。

昔やろうとして中途半端なコンテンツになっていたものが、かなり整理できたなと思います。そういう意味でも時の流れを感じました。
